Aarong has been decorating Dhaka with these mammoth-sized posters. Sorry I have not given any sense of scale in this camera phone snap. This is actually quite modest in size compared to some they have which each fill an entire side of a multi-storied building. Billboard space must be quite affordable. And I for one am very glad.

Funny you should say that…..I was thinking of putting up a vast collection of shots I have of borqa clad beauties. Of course you would have to imagine the “beauty” bit behind the veil… but life is like that isn’t it? Is borqababes.com taken??
Well, I don’t know about borqababes, with several hundred years of Islam in Bengal, I just feel like emulating Md [pbum].
Ah yes Md ( pbuy) - the master of the subtle and barbed comment laced with double entendre. For those not used to Md’s ( pbuh) posts, the “emulating” he refers to concerns, i suspect, the activities of a certain other Md and maidens of the right hand.

Some europe based friends have raised this rome thing. I have not blogged about it cos it is not finished. And I am not gonna do so now either…! I cannot by any means take the entire credit. But thanks for the comments.
