The original Mr Naga was made in Sunamgonj, Bangladesh (where im from and the label also listed where it was being imported from) and that was very very hot indeed but now they have opened a factory in the UK i think its in birmingham and I agree the taste is more sweeter then it was hot. I dont mind paying £2 but I want the original one back!!!

Hey Mosh

Yeah i got a jar of Naga Naga pickle from ebay through the seller "abdul7486".

I have to say that i was surprised when i got it as i previously thought that "here we go...somebody trying to cash in on anothers success by releasing a similar product"

But "Naga Naga" was completely differrent to "Mr Naga". Naga Naga is not so "in your face" naga smell....its more refreshing, in that it tasted more like an exotic mix pickle...and the heat is really up there! Whenever i sit down to eat i could finish a couple of tea spoons of Mr Naga but i was struggling with half a tea spoon of Naga Naga pickle!

Some might be a bit dissappointed that Naga Naga isnt an overtly naga pickle but nonetheless i liked it and am ordeering my second jar!

I love the Naga pickles and I have only tried two kinds, Mr Naga and Raja Naga. I prefer the Raja Naga because it's hotter and has a bit of mango taste. I am not sure if they added a bit of mango to it but I think I did once find a peice of mango in it. I live in Shadwell and near to Bricklane so the Bengali shops always stock them. But to my delight in Bricklane they have actually put the Raja Naga on offer as buy 1 and get 1 free. When I heard of this I had to stock up and so did my family. These pickles are addictive and surely enough i love eating it with my curries!! Wish they were in a bigger jar lol.
